Lingotto Fiere is the exhibition center of the city of Turin which, with an average of 50 events a year, attracts over one million people to its 100,000 square meters of exhibition space. The exhibition center is divided into two structures, the Lingotto Fiere, a space created by Renzo Piano in '92 from the post-industrial conversion of the former Fiat factory, and the futuristic Oval Lingotto building, built for the speed skating competitions for the Olympics. of Turin 2006.

The Lingotto Fiere consists of three pavilions, which can be used both independently and as a single environment. The offer is completed by an entrance gallery that houses the main services (shops, infirmary, ATMs), 6 bars and 2 restaurants, and three outdoor areas.

The Oval Lingotto, on the other hand, has a free area of ​​20,000 square meters that is completely customizable and adaptable to your layout, in a futuristic steel and glass building conceived as a large sail by Studio Zoppini and Hok Sport. The District is perfectly integrated into the Lingotto complex, a city hub that houses a shopping gallery, three 4-star hotels, restaurants, a multiplex cinema, two museums (Pinacoteca Agnelli and the Carpano Museum), two Poles universities and various offices.

The Lingotto is also well integrated into the city fabric, served by the main public transport and an underground stop, connected to the main highways and just a few minutes from the city's railway stations. Lingotto Fiere is the only private exhibition center in Italy, managed by GL events, a world leader in the supply of integrated solutions for events and trade fairs, with an expertise that covers the main market segments: congresses and conferences, sporting events and cultural, fairs and salons.

The project

More books freer was born in December 2002 from an idea of ​​the Piccoli Editori Group of the Italian Publishers Association. The goal is to offer the largest possible number of small publishing houses a space to bring their own production to the fore, often “obscured” by that of the larger companies, guaranteeing them the showcase they deserve. The Salon of Culture was born with the real goal and managed to involve and unite the various book communities, readers and collectors. The innovative formula, now in its 5th Edition, represents a formidable moment for all lovers of books, culture, reading, exhibitions, conferences, debates, presentations, meetings.

The Salone della Cultura unites all operators in the world of books, being open to all artistic expressions, whether they are represented by writing, artist books, photography, sculptures with books, pop-up books, ancient books, miniatures, bestsellers, specialized publishers, second-hand booksellers and antique dealers with their exceptional and unique copies.

Two days, Saturday and Sunday, dedicated to the pure pleasure of wandering around the largest bookshop in Italy (over 500,000 books on display), seeing exhibitions, attending workshops run by true Masters in their art, being able to hear conferences and appreciate how they still are today. can and must speak of culture.

The Pisa Book Festival is a national show of Italian and foreign independent publishing houses that every year in Pisa book dedicators, translators, illustrators and artists to celebrate books, reading and independence of thought.

Born in 2003 with the mission of enhancing Italian independent publishers, the Festival is up to conquer a stable place at the forefront in the national and international cultural panorama. Dynamic and original in its choices, the Festival hosts more than 200 events every year, from the meeting with the author to the conference, from the writing workshop to the seminar for translators, up to the show and reading.

Starting from a grassroots initiative, the Pisa Book Festival was immediately welcomed by the territory, as evidenced by the participation of the Pisa Foundation, the Municipality of Pisa and the Tuscany Region, and the extraordinary participation of volunteers and the public.
